Carington’s Wild Character Adventure® is a character-based, asset-building, relationship education tool. It provides a creative way to address the “soft skills” challenges seen by parents, schools and employers. It’s hard to teach reading, math, and everything else to children who most need growth in things we used to take for granted – like respectfulness, caring, empathy…just generally how to relate well to self and others.
This multi-faceted, standards-aligned program provides a wealth of materials, including easy-to-follow lesson plans, to teach these much-needed soft skills. Stop bullying before it even gets started! CWCA integrates language arts, science, art, music, AND includes a service-learning component for upper elementary and middle school mentors!
Carington’s Wild Character Adventure® was developed by the Women’s Care Center of Erie, PA, a non-profit dedicated to promoting wellness, emotional health, character development and family stability, as a direct response to needs seen in the individuals and communities it serves.
